Re:publica panel moderation: How startups are driving digital transformation

57,000. That’s how many fewer people will start a business in 2022 than in the previous year (-9%), according to KfW‘s new start-up monitor. This is not only a shame, it is also dangerous for Germany. After all, we need founders to drive the German economy if we are not to be left behind by other countries such as the US and China, as well as our neighbours such as France.

Entitled ‘New Drivers: How start-ups are driving the digital transformation’, I spoke on a panel with the great women Janina Mütze of Civey and Dr Sophie Chung of Qunomedical at Re:publica in Berlin in June 2023 about why we Germans are so tired of start-ups – and how we can change that.
