About me

Those who try cannot beat those who enjoy.

I am a creator through and through. I love trying new things and can get completely lost in a flow when writing or drawing. I originally come from a business background. After studying business administration and design in Munich, Brussels and Cologne, I worked for several years as a marketing strategist in large companies and consultancies. In 2015, I started my first own content project for the digital consultancy Publicis Sapient. To keep my HUGO BOSS project colleagues up to date, I sent out a newsletter every Friday with news from retail and consumer tech, which I later expanded with a Tumblr blog as an archive. My passion was awakened. In 2017, I launched my first own blog, PrettyPrettyWell.com. I worked as a freelance editor and content strategist on the side. In 2020, I decided it was time to work as a full-time journalist. An unsolicited application landed me a job as a cross-media editor at Business Punk. In 2021, I moved to t3n magazine as a business editor. In 2023, Piabo and Deutsche Startups named me “Top Tech Journalist 2023” for my work. Since July 2023 I work independently from Paris.
